In 2007, CREO’s network of over 75 business and faith leaders registered more than 200 families for the state’s Corporate Tax Credit scholarship. They also worked with legislators to increase the scholarship cap on this program. “The Fiestas Patronales will be a great opportunity for us to educate parents about how school choice can improve their children’s education,” said Anne Guarnera, Membership Coordinator of Hispanic CREO. “Thanks to our partnerships with the Puerto Rican Chamber of Commerce of Broward County, we will be able to motivate thousands of Latino families to take advantage of their educational options.” Hispanic CREO will participate in the Fiestas Patronales from November 15 through 18. Patronales de Puerto Rico Cubrirán a todo la Florida Estas
Fiestas, las más celebradas en Puerto Rico, también serán las más
celebradas en la Florida. Serán el único evento verdadero Puertorriqueño,
producido por Puertorriqueños y con cultura Puertorriqueña de su
tipo. Encabezando
la lista de artistas mundialmente reconocido lo cera Iris Chacon,
quien mejor que Iris que como la vedette del mundo cruzo al mercado

comenzara su jira en Orlando, Florida, los días 4-6 de Mayo, del 2007.
Continuaremos a Port Saint Lucie, Palm Beach, Tampa, Jacksonville y
terminara en el condado de Broward, los días 15-16 de Noviembre, del
2007. Las
Fiestas Patronales de Puerto Rico han logrado alcanzar su posición
por el despliegue de cultura Puertorriqueña por donde han pasado muchos
de los grandes pilares de la isla de Puerto Rico de fama mundial,
nominadas y ganadores del tan cotizado premio “Grammy” entre
ellos: Ray Barreto, Plena Libre, Iris Chacón, Es
el único evento el cual recibe su audiencia, a la entrada con música
típica Puertorriqueña, seguido por una exposición de artesanía Puertorriqueña.
